Blog 7: Free topic

Hello, in this post I´ll write about some animes that I watched.

To start, the first anime that I watched in knowing of what is an anime. And I say this, because when I was a child I was not aware about that the anime are series and have episodes with a secuence and all these things. So, going back to the main topic, this anime was Lucky Star. This anime is about a girl, who like anime, videogames and manga, so she spend all her time in them, also she is very lazy, but is good at school. The funny things in the anime are multiples references to other animes, videogames, manga and this japanese culture. But when I saw it, I don´t understood all the references involved in this anime, from the situations to the chracters, but I think I would like to watch it again to see how many references I can catch now.

Other anime that I love is Chobits. This anime is about a young that is going to the city to study for a university test (something like the PSU xd), and in the city, all the people have robots that have the function of a companion, so he wants to have one, but they are very expensive. Luckly, he finds one robot naked in the trash and he decided to take it. However, this robot not work like the others, because it only says "chii" and is unable to undertand the things like the other robots, but lately, stranger things happend and a secret will be known about this robot. I personally love the OST of this anime and the situations that present. If you like romantic series and robots you´ll love this anime. Also I would like to read the manga, but I´m very bad at reading.

Finally, an anime that I saw at the beginning of the year, Samurai Champloo. This anime is about a girl that is searching for "the samurai who smells of sunflowers", this girl meet two samurais and saved them from an execution, so they make a promise to help her to find this man, but they have problems with bandits, helping people or conflicts from themselves. I love this anime because of how it combines more contemporary things, like graffiti or baseball, with the world of Japanese Edo era.

Can anyone tell me what episode this scene is from? I want to make ...

Blog 6: Postgraduate studies

Hello!  Today, I'll write about the future postgraduate studies that I have in mind.

First, I think death is a very diffucult thing of life to overcome for people, so if I can help to make it easier to close and understand the grieft, It would be satisfactory for me in a personally and professionally. So, I think that in the future I would like to study something related with the investigation forensic, for example, laboratory work with genetic or bone trauma, new tecnology of investigation or scientific development.

I don't really know or search before about postgraduate studies, but the last week a teacher tell me about the Argentine Forensic Anthropology Team (In spanish, Equipo Argentino de Antropología Forense) and their work; thus, I search about it and I find that is very close of what I want to do in the future. Futhermore, they have courses and the requirement for them are accessible after I graduate, but the only problem will be that I'll have to travel to Argentina and probably the first time I'll have to live without my family nearby, so It would be difficult at first. Obviously, If I have the opportunity to study something like this in Chile, I'll take it.

Other thing that I have been thinking is about to keep learning other language and take some studies in other country, for example Canada or some country of Europe. And if it's a country of Europe, I could travel to other countries nearby.

Blog 5 : My future Job

Hello! This time I´ll write about my future job or what I think It would be.

When I started to study anthropology, I wasn´t sure what are the possibilties of work in the future, but now I sure that I´ll choose the mention of physical-anthropology, because I like forensic issues. Also recently I started to have an interest in technology and its impact in the human life.

So if I choose to work in forensic anthropology, I´ll work in a laboratory with bones, corpses or even mummies, however I think that if I´ll work in a project of prospection, I´ll have to be outdoor. Anyway, I don´t mind if I have to work indoor or outdoor, but I imagine that I´ll have to travel several times because of the work on the field itself and I like it, because when I travel, I start to organize my mind and different ideas. Although, I don´t  really know how is the salary of these types of jobs. Also I don´t have any idea of what major or studies I have to take, I never thought it before.

In the other hand, the theme of technology and its impact in the human life. I think it like the impact in different aspects, for example, the health, rehabilitation or sports performance. In this case, I imagine I´ll work for investigation of biotechnology and multiple group of people, so the core of my job will be outdoor, searching and doing research, and because of this, I´ll have to travel a lot.
